In the snow.

Hi everyone~! I this started out as just snow practice but then I had an urge to draw a foxgirl. As I colored it I came up with a little story.

There was a little fox-girl, who loved the snow.
Everyday, she would go out to a field next to her house.
With a tree, with red berries growing on it.
Everyday she would just sit there.
Look at the snow, look at the flakes, look at the tree.
It was a wonderful feeling to her.
The crisp air, the soft snow, the sound of walking on snow.
She absolutely loved it!
One day, a little boy came up to her and asked:
"Why do you sit here everyday?"
She replied:
"Sit with me and I'll show you." And he sat.
"Feel the air, isn't it refreshing? And doesn't the ground feel softer with snow? Just look at each and every snowflake, cherish each marvelous design because you'll never see the same one twice." The fox-girl said.
"It is nice but it's kinda cold." The boy shivered a bit even in his winter clothes.
"Let me help." She wrapped her tail around the young boy. "Does this help?"
"It does." The boy smiled. "Now that I have a closer look can I sit with you?"
She was delighted to have someone accompany her. "Of course!"
And the two sat and enjoyed the snow together.

This was quite fun to make, I should make more whimsical things like this~ I'll see you guys later and I hope you all like it~!

Sketched, Lineart made, coloring and shading done in Paint Tool Sai with my wacom bamboo tablet, while the effects were added in Photoshop CS6
